Hey, you guys! WHAT’S UP? 😀
Okay. I’m pretty content right now, which you probably can tell by the title of this post, and the unnecessary capitalization in the earlier sentence. Well, it’s all because of you guys. You guys find it worth your time to read my stuff, which makes me really, really happy. So, thank you. *claps for all of you* ❤
Anyway. Moving on now.
All the college drama is drawing to a close now, thank God. Looking back over the last three months, a lot of stuff has changed. I have changed. The people around me have definitely changed. Even the season has changed. It’s funny how three months can change so much. In June, I was looking forward to the summer (although it was a total bust, but I didn’t realize it until way later) and shopping for flip-flops. July just came and went, stirring up and rearranging lots of things. Now, it’s August. The end of summer, the beginning of rain, that would eventually bring fall along with it.
August, and fall, is the end of summer. But it’s also a whole new beginning. Personally, I believe that if you’ve made it to August, you’ve made it through another year. It’s kind of a victory, you know. You braved another summer, collecting several beautiful stories along the way.
And of course, there’s still more to come. Keep your eyes open. 😉
So, I have standardized all the people I know into two big groups: Good People and Bad People (I know, I should be a rocket scientist). The Good People, as the name suggests, are good people. The Bad People are not good people, of course. If my life were a pie-chart, this is how it would look:
This is a pretty happy place to be, right? I know. This is what actually got me to writing this post: in the end, it’s not about anybody else. In the end, it’s only between you and Life.
Nobody else should matter as much, especially when they’re stopping you from doing something that makes you happy/following your dreams. I know a lot of people who are struggling to find themselves right now, myself included. But like Nano always tell me, ‘everybody gets their happy place eventually, the place where they belong.‘
So, yeah. That’s the story. It’s my story. I’m sure it’s yours, too.
Oh-Kay, now I’m going to head out and do some other stuff (read lie on the couch and read magazines). That’s my fun way of enjoyment. Yay.
But you, go do whatever makes you happy. You’ll be surprised at how beautifully things may turn out if you do.
It’s now or never.
P.S.: Life4Ways gets back in action tomorrow! It’s ‘Confessions Week’, and trust me, there are a lot of things you don’t about us. See you there! 😀
