Okay, so 2012 is just about to end. One whole year full of promises, a hell of a lot changes, new friends, new challenges, and of course, an improved me.
It’s not like I was on the top of my game all through the year, but yes, I was pretty good. I’ll give myself that. I’ve had bad days, good days, super-awesome days, and on some days, I just felt like throwing myself off a cliff. But given that I’m right here, writing this post, I’d say I survived everything.
But I’d tell you one thing I learnt this year: Do what you have to, don’t listen to anybody — because it’s you who has to bear the brunt in the end, might as well make the most it. You can’t expect everybody to be there for you, all at once. The lucky thing is that really, all you need is someone.
Poetic, isn’t it? I know. But it works, which is always a plus. 🙂
I lost a lot of things this year, and gained some in return, too. Now all that’s left is for me to make some stuff happen. That’s the least I can do, at the moment.
What are your plans for the New Year?
