Take Responsibility, For Christ’s Sake

Hey, how’s it going? 🙂 Well, I am quite peeved now, so I don’t think I’m going to be too polite about anything in the rest of the post. Again, I might have to refer to some people around me, and I’d like to assign them false names like I do.

So let’s call the woman Shelby, okay? Good. Here goes nothing:

This Shelby woman is married, with three children. Lately, her past has caught up with her, and believe it or not, she’s been paying more and more attention to the long-gone, and not bothering about the present. Her home’s a mess, her children don’t know what to do, and well, you get the picture.

I asked her, ‘What’s wrong with you? You can’t just ditch everything and go back to someone who was in your life so many years ago!’ And you know what she replied? I’ll tell you what. She said to me (in a very prissy tone, mind you), ‘It’s my life, and I’m going to live it the way I want to. Why should I put my life on hold just because I have a family?’

Now, WHAT on earth could you possibly say to a person like this one? It’s pretty disgusting that she’s ready to put her family–not to mention her three kids–at stake just because of some random cheapskate, and to top it all, she has the lamest excuses to go by.

I mean, come on. These are the choices you make before you get married, and definitely before you have kids. This just goes to show that people in today’s world, mostly adults, would just do ANYTHING not to accept responsibility. It’s all fun and games until the problems start showing up, and once they do, we don’t want to stay in anymore.

We’d do just about anything to run away, which is probably the worst thing you could ever do in your ENTIRE life. It’s just. . . really pathetic. God help people like this crazy broad.

All I want to say is, that if you’ve taken up something, own up to it. Don’t leave any unfinished business. It just gets worse with time.

I’ll see you soon, yeah? Like I said, Yours, Truly is finished, and now I’m reading through it to make any required changes. 🙂

Meanwhile, how about you telling me what’s going in? 😀

Take care.
