Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist – George Carlin
Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. – Eleanor Roosevelt
The point here being that the only difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense. The real world — the one we have the outrageous fortune of living in — is the one that harbors the monsters. The witches. The madmen. And of course, the idiots.
‘Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist’– I don’t think I can agree any more with this. Ask me, I’m cynical, snobbish and mistrustful of others— and a hugely disappointed idealist. You know, unless you are someone in power, the world doesn’t take you seriously. And being neglected over and over again leads a person to completely lose faith and go nuts. Or just disparaging.
But they cannot be blamed entirely for it.That’s just how the way it is. Sad, I know.
So to make yourself heard, it’s always better to stand up for it. Take a stand and make them known what you think– because no one else is going to speak for you. Not now, not ever.
Okay, so I got to go now, but I’ll be back soon. And guess what?! Me and Snigdha (the one who shares my name) are the organizers of the our Annual Function. I’m so pleased, you have no freaking idea 😀
See you soon!
