Time to go back to school tomorrow. *groan* I don’t like getting up at 5am in the morning to go somewhere I would gladly do without attending. But then again, like the seasons, I don’t have any control over this also.
So now, about the title — I have slightly improved the name of the weird thing people do with flower petals, called as Loves me, loves me not. Earlier it used to be about whether the other person paid attention to you; now, it’s all about you. Another proof how much times have changed since Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy 😉
Okay, so earlier, people used to stick to one person, and probably spend their entire lives pinning after them. But now? Don’t ask me. It’s like every person has a placard around their necks saying ‘If you are interested, tell me, or someone else will.’ And what’s more? They don’t even bother to explain their juvenile behaviour. Guy not interested? Who cares? Let’s go for another kill!
Lovely. Seriously lovely a thing to do. -_-
I mean, have you EVER thought about the other person whom you just renounced? How would they feel? Okay, chuck their feelings—- how would you feel if they left you for a random person. You’d feel like dying. That’s how you’d feel.
Same case applies for them, doesn’t it? But who cares? No one does. That’s why I always say that love makes you selfish, and after that, nothing else matters. And the worst part is it is not even the real thing— it is a hoax.
They say the opposite of love is indifference—- and now, everyone has started believing in it! 😉 Can they get any more indifferent than they already are?
Wait. Don’t answer that. I know. 🙂
